Majestic Bukhara is the pearl of the East, one of the most ancient and beautiful cities located in Uzbekistan. This city keeps many secrets and legends. And no wonder, because it is already more than 2,500 years old, and the history is even more interesting and fascinating. According to one of the legends, this city appeared thanks to Prince Siyavush, who built the Ark fortress. This fortress would later play the role of the city center, in which the rulers lived with their numerous retinue. The city itself was located outside the Ark fortress. Bukhara also served as a huge trade point through which the Great Silk Road ran.
Ark Citadel–ancient symbol of state power. It seems that since the very creation of the world, this huge fortress has been standing in the center of Bukhara, which has always been a protection and support for the Bukhara rulers.

The architectural complex Poi-Kalon - the main ensemble in the center of Bukhara is located at the intersection of the trade routes of the "four bazaars". The ensemble includes 4 elements: the Kalyan mosque and the Miri-Arab madrasah facing each other, between them the Kalyan minaret, and the Amir-Alimkhan madrasah.

Samarkand – Tashkent (high-speed train Afrosiab 18:00-20:10)
Breakfast in the hotel
Start of the city tour
Morning visit to the Siab Bazaar - it is impossible to visit Uzbekistan and not visit the oriental market, where you can best experience the vibrant atmosphere of the ancient city. Crossing the threshold of the arch, you immediately find yourself in a completely different, even somewhat fabulous atmosphere: an abundance of colors catches your eye, a hum of voices of hundreds of buyers and merchants is in your ears, an abundance of fruits and vegetables is striking.
The Bibi Khanum Mosque is the largest mosque in Central Asia, shrouded in many legends.
The majestic blue domes are an extraordinary sight. The spirit is already breathtaking from the scale with which this monumental structure was built, striking in its size and beauty. In ancient times, its dome was compared with the vault of heaven, and the arch of the portal - with the Milky Way.
Registan Square, which is one of the most beautiful squares in the world, is called the pearl of Central Asia. This glory is due to the unique monuments of medieval oriental architecture, surrounding it from three sides in the form of a beautiful architectural ensemble: Ulugbek Madrasah (1417-1420), Sher-Dor Madrasah (1619-1636) and Tilla-Kari Madrasah (1646-1647). ). This ensemble is considered the greatest among the buildings of the Islamic world.
All three madrasahs (in the old days in the east they called religious educational institutions) turn their portals to the center of the square and create a harmonious composition. Moreover, each building is distinguished by its unique decor - a pattern of filigree stone carving that adorns the walls and portals.
In 2001, the Registan ensemble, along with other ancient buildings of Samarkand, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Mausoleum Gur-Emir (in translation - the grave of the emir, ruler) is the place where Amir Temur, his sons and grandsons are buried. It is a single-dome building with a crypt. The basis of the mausoleum is an octahedron with a ribbed dome on a high drum, which is the pride and decoration of the mausoleum.
Necropolis of Shakhi-Zinda -
one of the most mysterious and unique architectural monuments of Samarkand. The oldest structures of the ensemble, of which only the foundations and tombstones have survived, date back to the 11th-12th centuries. The vast majority of buildings date back to the 14th-15th centuries, and the reconstructions of the 16th-19th centuries had practically no effect on the composition and appearance of the complex.

"Chorsu" bazaar is one of the oldest bazaars in the city. The Tashkent bazaar Chorsu, whose age is more than one hundred years, has also always been located on the main square of the city of Eski-Juva.
A visit to the ceramic workshop of Akbar and Alisher Rakhimov is a unique place, a piece of paradise in the old city, here there is a completely different approach to the process, to products and to aesthetic design. There are no clichés and typical ceramics here, here each bowl and plate is a work of art, and the house with a beautiful garden adds a special oriental flavor and charm to the workshop.
Excursion to the Museum of the History of the Peoples of Uzbekistan - in this museum we will get acquainted with the rich history and ancient civilizations that originated on the territory of modern Uzbekistan. A unique collection of ancient archaeological finds gives the museum a special charm and significance.
Visit to the Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan. It has been known since 1927, when the first exhibition of works by Uzbek masters was organized here. The museum stores more than 7,000 samples of folk applied art: handmade embroidery, skullcaps, jewelry, carpets and other examples of handicrafts from the beginning of the 19th century to the present day.
Amir Temur Square - Around the Square are the Uzbekistan Hotel, the buildings of the Law Institute (the former building of the women's gymnasium), the Amir Temur Museum, the famous Tashkent Chimes and one of the most grandiose architectural structures in Tashkent - the Palace of Forums.
Independence Square - This is a favorite vacation spot for residents of Tashkent.
